At just under 5 feet tall, Claire does not have an imposing physical presence. However, her outsized passion and dedication make her a formidable champion for independent pharmacies across the country.
Claire’s journey to becoming “The Independent Pharmacy Champion” started early. Driven by a desire to help others, she entered the healthcare field. Though initially deterred by her fear of needles and fainting spells, she powered through and found her calling in problem-solving and caring for patients.
After 7 years in retail pharmacy, Claire saw an opportunity to better serve patients by supporting independent pharmacies. Now, as the head of the Clinical Programs team at EPIC Pharmacy Network (EPN), she spends her days researching, relationship-building, and creating resources to empower independent pharmacies to excel.
Claire understands the unique challenges pharmacists face between demanding metrics, thin margins, and time limitations. She aims to provide pharmacists with clear, concise guidance to drive results while increasing their bottom line. Her advice: take a few minutes each morning to complete quick claims and review performance data to maximize opportunities.
Claire’s dedication and high standards make her a true heavyweight champion for independent pharmacies. She refuses to let the pharmacies she supports fall short in their goals, combining her intellect and empathy to ensure each pharmacy and patient receives the best possible care.
