New Video Highlights Independent Pharmacy Members & EPIC Rx CEO

Over the past few months, EPIC Rx has been working on a project to share our story and allow you to get to know who we are through the lens of our CEO and a few of our members!

EPIC Rx was happy to work with a local media team to create a cinematic snapshot of three independent pharmacy owners, including our very own CEO.

See CEO Brian Hose switching gears from independent pharmacist and owner of Sharpsburg Pharmacy to a leader in the EPIC Rx offices. Brian became a pharmacy owner in 2008, an EPIC Rx board member in 2018, and CEO in 2022. To read more of Brian’s story, click here

The video features a current member of our Board of Directors, Ken Reed. Ken has owned his pharmacies since 1998 and has served in various political roles supporting independent pharmacy in West Virginia. Ken states that he does not know if he “could have kept these pharmacies open for 25 years without EPIC.” To read more of Ken’s story, click here.

Also featured is Tommy Thompson, owner of Mechanicsville Drug Store. He has been a member of EPIC Rx since 1986. He shares why he has continued to work with EPIC Rx for so many years and the impact that it has made on his experience as a long-time pharmacy owner. Tommy states that his store could not operate by itself, and that EPIC Rx’s “help with audits is fabulous.”
