EPIC Pharmacies, Inc. is committed to the success of independent pharmacy. Our Student Grant Program provides those interested in working as community pharmacists with an opportunity to offset some of the costs associated with attending pharmacy school.
We encourage our members to connect with students in their communities and recommend those with potential interest in the profession! A letter of recommendation from an EPIC Pharmacies member is one of the many elements students must have to complete our Student Grant application.
Our scholarship committee then reviews the applications. Based on their responses and the completion of the applications, recipients are selected.
“The EPIC Pharmacies Student Grant Program has provided me with the tools, information, and connections I need to pursue my dream of being an independent pharmacist,” says Maira Arshad, a two-time grant recipient in 2022 and 2023. “It’s an investment in my future, and I am sincerely grateful for EPIC Pharmacies’ trust and belief in me.”
