Who owns EPIC?
EPIC is a not-for-profit cooperative organization, owned by its members and directed by our 15-member board of independent EPIC pharmacy owners.

What does it cost to join?
There is no cost to join EPIC. Membership in EPIC also includes the cost of membership in EPN, EPIC’s third party network. Once you become an EPIC member, a $75 monthly fee is automatically deducted from your monthly rebate check.

How long is the membership contract?
There is no membership contract. You can terminate your membership at any time if you feel EPIC does not deliver on its promise to members.

What is the membership application process?
You can download the pre-membership qualification form, then return it to EPIC via email, fax or mail and we will send you the formal applications for EPIC and EPN. Once completed applications are received, they are presented to the board for approval.

How are rebates distributed?
Every month you will receive a check from EPIC based on your compliance and volume levels with our vendors. At the end of the year, you will receive a 13th check.

What is the end-of-year check (13th check)?
As we have stated, we are a true co-op. At year-end, whatever money is left over is returned to our members on a compliance and volume basis.

Can I join EPN without joining EPIC?
No. You must belong to the buying group to belong to EPN, our wholly owned subsidiary.

What will membership in EPN cost?
There is no cost for EPN membership. It is included with your membership to the EPIC buying group.

How often will EPN send me money?
A minimum of three times each week, EPIC Pharmacy Network (EPN) will EFT (electronic funds transfer) whatever payments have been sent in by third parties to EPN members. The EFT will be posted to your account and the funds will be available to you immediately.

Who can become a board member?
Any pharmacist/owner who is a member in good standing can be elected to the board for a three-year term. Each year, five members are up for re-election and we send out a call for additional nominations. Interested members can submit their own names or the name of another member to be considered for the ballot. The entire membership votes annually on the final ballot.
